There is something incredibly safe about a man whose kindness doesn't come with an invoice.

A conversation is just a conversation.

You don't have to wonder what you owe him afterward.

I’ve loved people who stayed, people who left, and people who were only ever meant to pass through.

Some memories still make me smile.

Some hurt a little when I touch them.

I wouldn’t trade either kind.

Not everyone has to be your person to have been a lovely part of your life.

So, here’s to appreciating people for exactly who they were and letting the story be beautiful without needing to rewrite the ending.
