Well, some of you have messaged.. some of you knew and some are still now aware. WE ARE EXPECTING!! This is a dream come true. Rip will be promoted to big brother and he could not be more excited about it.

Unfortunately since finding out I have had to make some hard decisions. The hardest one was deciding to go back to “a real job” to get my hours for maternity leave. Unfortunately being self employed, this wasn’t an option.

What does this mean for you? I can refer you to another lash tech, but you will have to wait to see me until baby gets here. I will be back though.

Thank you to those of you who have been so kind and understanding. Offering words of encouragement and checking in. I appreciate and needed that more than you know. ♥️ looking forward to seeing you all in 2023.

I will be sharing with you 7 years of experience, tips and tricks, marketing & advertising strategies, a full comprehensive lash manual, sanitization & disinfecting standards, classic & volume techniques, lash mapping, non brand specific product info and much much more. 1 on 1 lash courses are a great option for those who aren’t comfortable in a group setting or can’t make the group class dates work.

There are two options with private courses.. 1.) you come to me and 2.) I come to you.

The courses are still 2 days and the same material, you just have me all to yourself. This allows a little more time for questions, and practice.

Let’s talk about brows!!

What are powder brows and how are they different from microblading?

Powder brows are done by using a tattoo or permanent makeup machine and cartridges/needles. The brow is shaded in by making slow pendulum hand movements with the machine, making a series of small “dots”. A powder brow can be more defined and bold, or lighter and fluffy depending on the preference of the client. Touch ups are needed every 1-2 years.

Microblading is a service that is done by using a “blade” on a handle. Each hair stroke is done by gliding along the skin. There is no shading, usually giving a more natural hair stroke appearance. This service is not suitable for clients with mature skin. Touch ups are needed every 6 months to 1 year.

I have had to make the hard decision to slightly increase my prices. Because of Covid, prices for shipping and supplies have changed significantly. I hope that you all understand. 💕

Did you know that there are different lash styles? These are referred to as lash maps or mapping in the lash industry. Different lengths are used to achieve certain looks depending on what the client is looking for.

A cat eye is one of the most popular styles. Resembling a winged eyeliner. Best suited for close-set or almond eye shapes like Taylor Swift.

To achieve this look I used lengths 9-15mm in a C and Cc Curl.
Starting at the outer corner and working my way inwards. 15-14-13-12-11-10-9.
