All our soaps are made with raw goat’s milk. Goat milk is close to our own Ph and the reason it is beneficial to our skin and hair.
We do not use preservatives or additives in our soap.
We do not take out the natural lanoline, which is the by product of mixing lye with oils and curing till the lye is saponified, meaning absorbed into the bar, ready to use on skin. This is the creamy natural skin moisturizer found in our soap that leaves skin feeling soft and luxurious.
There is no need to moisturize your skin after bathing or showering. The soap does it all.

All of our bars are made without preservatives. The All-natural Original is made with only 5 ingredients which include, raw goats’ milk, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and sweet almond oil. Essential oils are used for our Peppermint, Cedar Wood, French Lavendar, Black Licorice, Lemon Poppyseed, Savory Cinnamon, and Rosemary Shampoo and Body Bars.
We also make body bars using raw goat’s milk, the same oils mentioned above and fragrance oils. Jasmine, Rose, and Cranberry flavors.
We make some seasonal Christmas Body Bars made out of essential oil blends, Christmas Snow, Christmas Spice and Christmas Forest.
Our supplier is Voyageur Soap and Candle who are conscientious about their products and source their palm oil from reputable sources as explained on their website.

We have heard good reviews about our product. Customers have reported the Original Soap and Shampoo bar has helped children and adults with eczema and other skin problems.
We’ve heard the shampoo bars, all except the Lemon Poppyseed have had good results for hair. For best results, wet hair, use the bar to rub into the hair, lather and rinse and do it again a second time to help detox commercial shampoos out of your hair. After a few weeks of using Dogwood Ridge Shampoo and Body Bars people have reported their hair doesn’t need washing so much. Dry scalp has become less dry and oily hair has become less oily. The reason for this is the PH in Goat Milk Soap neutralizes our scalp as goats’ milk is close to our own skin ph.
This soap has many uses, people have reported it is good for bathing dogs, and we have used it to wash our goats.
Some have used it to rub stains out of clothing. Just wet your bar and dry rub it on the stain in your clothing. Then wash as usual.
I personally use it for laundry soap. In a bowl or bucket, I mix one cup Washing Soda, one cup Baking Soda, one cup Borax, and one cup of Oxi Clean. Then when the mixture is mixed well, I take one cup of the powder and put it into a food processor. I only use this food processor for making laundry soap. I cut up an Original Dogwood Ridge Shampoo and Body Bar slicing it into small pieces with a sharp knife. I place some of the powder mix and all of the sliced bar soap into a food processor and whirl it together until the soap pieces are little tiny bites.
I use half a cup of mixed soap powder with each washing load. It is low sudsing and works well in all washing machines. It is easy on septic systems and the clothes come out clean. No other product is necessary for washing. It is much cheaper to make your own laundry soap, and the clothes comes out clean. It has helped people who are sensitive to commercial laundry soap.
