The Dapper Den

It’s a shame that part of my behind the scenes job has become writing no show emails or messages. Not often but more than should. We do realize things ‘happen’ however our ‘time priority’ based appointment times are considered a privilege to hold time. Client communication, consideration, and courtesy is absolutely key especially as we are building a brand new small business.
We do have a 24 hour cancel policy to help shield us but a few simply do not show up at all, even without a call...

This has made my husband Anthony resort to asking a walk-in to wait or even return later if he believes a booked client is due in a few minutes.
No more!~As stated on our website If a pre-booked appointment client is not present in the barbershop 10-15 minute prior to their time slot—he will move on!

Understandably even Anthony may be running a few minutes late but will always get you in as promised.
Unfortunately situations like this past week make us second guess us allowing anyone aside from our regular clients to hold time priority.

I dislike having to type to people that if they decide to visit our shop again in the future to please do so first as a walk-in but in this economic time hard decisions and policies are important.
It will be worse if we decide to end appointments entirely or have to resort to taking non-refundable deposits for them. Especially also for the last remaining month of his mobile Monday services, as has very little time on only Monday—when someone holds time then cancels last minute he cant refill the time.

I very much thank everyone for their ongoing patronage, cooperation, and understanding.

Please note our new Saturday hours. We will be closing at 3:30 as we have done for a couple weeks now. We are trying this new time out for the summer based on several factors and will decide in September if this new Saturday closing time will remain permanent.

Appointments are recommended but not required if you do not like the chance of a wait for Saturday mornings as they tend to be busier than the weekdays.
