Ground & Glow Studio is so excited to officially welcome Brittany to the space!

Brittany isn’t new to this community… she’s simply stepping into a brighter, more accessible location. Born and raised right here, she has been part of the local story since day one. A 2005 graduate of the local high school, she went on to complete her training at Marvel College Beauty School in 2006 and has since built nearly 20 years of experience behind the chair.

Over the years, Brittany has balanced her passion for hair with raising her young family, working from her home studio just outside of town. Many of her loyal clients made the 45 km trip because they knew exactly what they were getting… skill, creativity, and a whole lot of heart. She has also shared her talents within the local seniors lodge, helping residents look and feel their very best.

Now, with her kids a little older, Brittany is stepping into a new chapter here at Ground & Glow Studio — making it easier than ever for clients to connect with her while continuing to serve the community she’s always called home.

Brittany specializes in creative color and has a sharp eye for detail, but what truly sets her apart is how she makes people feel. With her bubbly personality, quick wit, and genuine care, every appointment is more than just hair… it’s connection, confidence, and a few good laughs along the way.

When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her at home with her family, tending to her chickens, and enjoying the simple joys of country life.

Youngest of a set of identical twin girls, lifelong local, devoted mom, and passionate stylist… Brittany is ready to welcome both familiar faces and new ones into her chair.

Meet Deanna Horner- Esthetician A Touch of Elegance by Deanna

Deanna began her journey in the beauty industry in 2012 after training at Esthetics Plus, where she studied gel nails, pedicures, and waxing. In 2024, she expanded her skill set by completing a lash lift and tint certification through Fixe Beauty. Since then, she has continued offering beauty services while participating in ongoing education and training programs to refine her techniques. In addition to these services, she also offers tanning with her own lay-down tanning bed, allowing clients to enjoy a convenient and comfortable tanning experience.

Karla is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in 2023 with 2200 hours of training. She is passionate about helping clients feel their best through therapeutic massage and is always looking to expand her skills and knowledge within the wellness industry. Karla looks forward to branching out and adding facials to her services in the coming months.
As the studio owner, she is excited to support the growth of everyone in the building and is committed to helping create a positive, thriving wellness space for both practitioners and clients.

Saturnino graduated from Makami College in 2024 with 3000 hours of massage therapy training. He offers relaxation, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage, specializing in deep tissue techniques to help relieve tension and support overall wellness.
