Every summer, as much as it behoves me, you can catch me at Nigerian Association of Hamilton Summer Picnic! This year was no different!

I am deeply proud of my roots! Deeply! Opportunities like this, that bring Nigerians and their families together are imperative to building strong communities. This holds true across all cultures and communities!

There is something incredibly powerful about gathering in celebration of our heritage, sharing our traditions, introducing our children to their culture, and strengthening the bonds that connect us to one another. Any community that desires to thrive must be nurtured through intentional spaces like these.

Thank you to everyone who works tirelessly to make this event possible year after year. Thank you to the executive team Nigerian Association of Hamilton for your passionate efforts!

Earlier this year, 3 stars set out to dominate the airwaves at Cable 14! Our mission was simple: Highlight what impactful leadership in the social profit space looks like; name it; celebrate it and invite others to become it!!

Unapologetic Impact with Sara Ernest and Lohifa was born and our very first guest, my dear friend and mentor Renee Wetselaar left no crumbs in sharing wise words with our audience!

Few months later, we learned that we were nominated for Cable 14 impact award and last night we got to live out our best lives as superstar nominees!

Always grateful for the opportunities to serve, to do good, with good people, unapologetically, relentlessly!

Congrats to all the nominees and winners! It was a beautiful night indeed! Go Hamilton Go!
