Thanks sooooo much to Christy, the most amazing activity coordinator and total ball of fun energy, for sharing these images and for making this activity happen. It's Dahlia Delivery Day at Cowichan Hospice House! It seems they are a hit with residents and staff alike, which makes my day. I will take a break next week as the flowers are lasting a long time and next weekend is the 158th annual Cowichan Exhibition. I am entering dahlias in the fair, so need to be able to choose the showstoppers! Wish me luck, it's always a blast, winning or not.

I dropped 15 Dahlia bouquets off with Tanis and Maureen at Cowichan Hospice House today for the residents and staff to enjoy. I plan to do it every week til the dahlias are done, which won't happen anytime soon. The garden is bursting with them and they just keep coming. Thanks to those who have suggested other organizations to approach. The flowers just want to share their love 💕 and me too.

Starting last year when my Mom was living at Cerwydden extended care, I regularly brought in my Dahlias for the elderly residents to make into bouquets. The joy it brought everyone was pure honey on my heart. And so I decided to do it again this year. I just met with Cowichan Hospice House and will bring them bouquets beginning this week. It feels so good to share their stunning beauty with those that could use a little lift. If you know an organization that offers special support to people in the Cowichan Valley that would appreciate some flowers, do let me know. It is all FREE and the Dahlias will keep producing til the first frost.💕🏵️💞

Effective immediately, Botanical Bliss will no longer ship to the USA. You all know why. The harvest is on! Henk is hanging lavender amid the happy bees and I took out the garlic this morning.
