KRISTA NEVILLE began her career with the beauty industry in 2001 in Newfoundland, Canada. After graduating top of her class, she was more than eager to immerse herself in hair and fashion world. Krista trained herself endlessly with educators and took every opportunity to work with annual trade shows doing freelance work. Throughout her career she has been featured on local media as well as national television shows like “Hair Wars”. Her keen eye for shape, texture and flair, have catapulted her to compete nationally and internationally, subsequently becoming a finalist on numerous occasions. Krista believes that becoming a good stylist isn’t just about technique; it’s about education and overall balance. As the owner of the successful Identity Salon and Spa, it’s no surprise that her passion for the beauty industry has allowed her to fulfill her dreams of being a dynamic stylist and mentor. In 2014, she became a Life Coach, as she felt it was her obligation to educate herself in personal client relations and offer help when it was asked.
2015 turned out to be off the charts, as she jet-setted across the world to India for a month to become trained as a Kundalini Yoga & Meditation teacher. then just only a few months after returning, Krista was selected to work backstage for Spanish design house Desigual during New York Fashion Week. Not only was the experience life changing, she felt renewed and inspired to kick her career up a notch, buy a building and set up shop in her home town of Conception Bay South, with the intention of teaching many different classes in her cosy upstairs loft. Did I mention she is also having a baby? She will be taking a few weeks off during September but will be returning to work in October. In the meantime her gorgeous, hilarious, partner in life & crime, her sister Heather will be taking over the needs of Krista's clients while she steps out, squeezes out her bundle of joy and tries to get her b***y back in tip top shape :)

Women sat in these chairs
with storms tucked neatly behind their eyes,
speaking in half-sentences,
in sighs,
in the quiet language of being held without question.
Here, stories slipped out between laughs,
and healing happened quietly.
Hands moved gently here
not just through hair,
but through grief,
through change,
through the fragile courage of becoming someone new.
The mirrors did not judge.
They witnessed.
And somewhere between the rinse and the dry,
between laughter and confession,
pieces of people were stitched back together
softly,
beautifully,
without anyone needing to name the healing.
