✨MEET NURSE WENDY✨
At Solo Wellness, we’re lucky to have someone who is equal parts compassionate, knowledgeable, and wonderfully authentic.

Born and raised in Dapp, Alberta, Wendy grew up playing every sport she could and graduated from RF Staples in Westlock. She went on to become a Registered Massage Therapist, practicing for 13 years after graduating from the Alberta Institute of Massage. In 2010, she graduated from Northern Lakes College as an LPN and has since dedicated her career to caring for patients in the Barrhead Emergency Department. She also works part-time at the Barrhead Medical Clinic as an MOA, making healthcare her true calling.

She’s been happily married for over 25 years and is a proud mom of three grown boys. When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll likely find her golfing, playing a slow-pitch game, camping, hiking, traveling, or spending time outdoors.

If you ask those who know her best, they’ll tell you she’s caring, no-nonsense, and a straight shooter—What you need to hear with a strong kindness whether you want to hear it or not. She’s also the nurse who could probably start an IV from a mile away… and secretly gets a little too much satisfaction from ripping unwanted hair off during waxing. 😆

Outside of work, she’s a fan of a perfectly organized stack of Post-it notes, smooth gel pens, a great car karaoke playlist, a strong morning coffee, a well-timed prank, a belly laugh with friends, and ending the day with a great glass of wine.

Whether you’re visiting us for wellness services, or a little self-care, you’ll always be greeted by someone who genuinely cares and will make you feel comfortable every step of the way.

✨MEET GRACIE - crescentgglamco✨

Gracie has been lashing for 7 years and has loved all things beauty, fashion and creativity. She started her love of lashing when she was in high school as a side job while working and playing volleyball and numerous sports. In 2024 Gracie moved out to BC and pursued her love of lashing in Willoughby while exploring the terrain outside of work! She loved the hiking, diverse foods and going for walks and visiting the ocean.

A couple months ago moved back to Barrhead to be with her family and her little sister. Gracies favorite part of lashing would be creating a custom set that genuinely suits the client uniquely and having them open their eyes and love how it suits them. She cares deeply about making sure clients lashes aren’t too heavy or not full enough, and she believes that the “shape” of your lashes is not one size fits all but should be catered to each client uniquely through mapping and a good pre consult.

When Gracie’s not Lashing you can catch her playing guitar, singing, writing // songwriting, taking care of my sister/with family, listening to music, editing lash posts, doing her own lashes/makeup, dressing up, reading and watching my favourite shows/movies.
Gracie’s books are now open and she can’t wait to meet you! ✨🫶🏻
