Why light-based therapies (crystal laser, diode & IPL) fail?

Don't expect greater hair reduction results if your hairs are too sparse, light in colour & fine in diameters!

Depending on your ultimate goal if you would like to achieve greater hair reduction from light-based therapies, such as crystal Alexandrite &/or Nd:YAG laser hair removal, before you have your very first LHR treatment, you must understand and strictly follow our recommended instructions below.

Please remember all light-based therapies currently existing on this Earth can completely destruct hairs in only anagen stage when at maximum density and these hairs won't regrowth after the treatment, but these therapies will shrink hairs in other hair growth cycle (catagen, telogen & etc.) and they will regrow after the treatment. When these non-anagen hairs become more sparse, less dense, less dark & finer, successive light-based therapies become less effective!

I ask my clients to make appointment only when majority of their hairs are in anagen and at maximum density in order to achieve greater hair reduction permanently. LHR can completely destruct hair follicles only when hairs are in anagen. LHR can only shrink non-anagen hairs, but cannot completely destroy them.

dark melanins (may be also "water molecules" inside that dark hair shafts too) absorb light emitted from 1064-nm Nd:YAG crystal laser that, in turn, vapourise water molecules. More water molecules in dark hair shafts may mean more heat generated to help increase treatment efficacy?

As u can see from the image below, both water molecules and dark melanin molecules absorb 1064-nm light.
