It's been an incredible year of growth so far. With only 4 short months left, here's 3 little things I've stopped actively doing when it comes to running my small business.
1. I'm outgoing but awkward, it's less awkward for me to cut out authentic content. So enjoy me 😉
2. I have my own life, away from work and business. I've found over the years that you'll always rub someone the wrong way regardless of who you are - stop caring.
3. "You just lost a customer. "
This year I've noticed an increase in rude, demanding behaviour when being contacted. I don't need to have FREE wholesale/pro memberships that provide discounts to those in the industry, I also don't need to tolerate abuse if you don't meet the criteria for a discount on every order.
- I've stopped apologising for not meeting expectations customers have decided to set before making a purchase.❤️ Our prices are already super competitive ❤️

First of all Unicorn Lab would like to personally apologise to all of our customers.
Last night while restocking our oils using new equipment, I immediately noticed a capacity issue.
Our pink cuticle oil pens are intact a 2.3ml capacity and as a result we have changed the website to reflect these as 2ml pens.
I have always valued product and ingredients transparency to a high standard, and as soon as this issue was noticed we took action.
- All effected customers have been contacted.
- Website and product descriptions have been updated
- New boxes for our pink pens are being re made
- We will re purpose our 3ml pen boxes for our clear 3ml pens
- Prices have been reduced temporarily for 2ml pink pens while they are unboxed.
I am very sorry for the advertising these as an inaccurate volume, and we will be implementing stricter control and quality measures moving forward.
