I’m so excited to share that By Emma Janne has been announced as a finalist in the Brisbane City Local Business Awards! 🏆

Starting my business only 6 months ago, I had no idea what was in store. I wish I could say that I knew I was going to be successful from the start, but I definitely didn’t. There were so many sleepless nights and anxious tears wondering if I was making the right choice.

Although, it seemed like I was the only one who doubted it! I’m so lucky to be surrounded by such an incredible support system of family, friends, and clients.

Starting not only a new business, but doing it in a new location after 10 years in the same place, was so daunting. I honestly don’t think I could have done it without my amazing clients. Knowing that I was going in every day to see your smiling faces made it all feel a little less scary and a lot less lonely.

To everyone who has sat in my chair, cheered me on, recommended me to loved ones, or sent a supportive message: thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

This space exists because of you. I couldn’t be more grateful for this community we’ve built, or more in awe of how my life is turning into what I’ve always quietly dreamed of.

Looking at those photos from my very first day, I never could have imagined coming this far in just six months.
