A little glimpse into an average day at Skin4U. 💚

🕙 10am – Mixing up an Enzyme Therapy treatment.
🕛 12pm – Helping a client work towards their healthiest skin.
🕑 2pm – New DMK stock arrives (the best kind of delivery 😍).

No two days are ever exactly the same, and that's one of the things I love most about what I do.

Every treatment, every client and every skin journey is different and I wouldn't have it any other way. ✨

Some days I look around this room and think... *I really get to call this my job.* 💚😍

I get to be part of someone's self-care.

I get to watch clients relax, unwind and take sometime just for themselves.

I get to celebrate skin wins, big and small.

The next few days are just as important as the treatment itself. Following your aftercare helps support your skin while it recovers and gets the most out of your treatment.

Here's what I recommend:

💚 **Follow your personalised aftercare routine** – Stick to the products and instructions we've discussed. Your skin needs gentle, supportive care.

☀️ **Avoid direct sun exposure** – Your skin will be more sensitive after treatment, so stay out of the sun where possible and wear SPF once advised.

💧 **Drink plenty of water** – Keeping your body hydrated supports your skin during the recovery process.

🛏️ **Change your pillowcase** – Fresh bedding helps minimise the transfer of bacteria and dirt onto freshly treated skin.

📱 **Clean your phone screen** – It's something we touch all day, and it comes into contact with our face more than we realise.

💄 **Wash your makeup brushes** – Clean brushes help reduce the chance of introducing bacteria to your skin.

🚫 **Avoid makeup** – Give your skin time to breathe and recover before applying makeup, following the timeframe recommended by your therapist.

🏋️ **Skip intense exercise, saunas and swimming for 24–48 hours** – Excess heat, sweating and chlorinated water can further irritate freshly treated skin.

🤲 **Hands off!** – As tempting as it is, avoid picking, scratching or unnecessarily touching your skin while it's healing.

Remember, skin needling is a journey, not a one-off treatment. Consistent aftercare, the right home care and following your treatment plan all work together to help you achieve the best possible results. 💚
