When I say he was my number one fan, I mean he would introduce me to complete strangers and say how amazing I was and what a badass thing I was trying to accomplish. He made me feel seen and supported, every single second.
This one’s for you Yims… I wish we could be enjoying bourbon on the rocks with maple syrup on the front porch to celebrate.
I’m not sure how to handle such grief and joy in the same breath.

Last night was the 2026 Bubba Awards. Emma and Elenie were camping in Vermont and Laura and Lily were doing the same in Montana. Both scheduled trips locked in well before we realized the bubbas were an option.
We both woke up to a string of texts, all with enthusiastic congratulations! We had WON Best Local Retailer 🎉…
At first, there was a bit of disbelief. Quickly followed by a twinge of regret for not being there. Finished off by a heap load of love and gratitude - people actually know who we are!
THANK YOU to Keys Weekly Newspapers for hosting an amazing event - we wish we could have been there. And thank you to everyone who voted. This sure is an amazing little town to be a part of. 🌱

Okay, here’s my last post about the Bubbas. We’ve got today and tomorrow and then it’s all over. Thank you to those who have voted and thank you to those who have held out through the last couple weeks. It’s been a lot.
Starting a brick and mortar business while keeping a full time job and raising a small human solo has been crazy. But I honestly wouldn’t change a bit.
I know I’m working towards the life I’ve been dreaming of and I plan on manifesting the f*ck out of it! I hope you come along for the ride!
