Unedited & LONG overdue, but we actually got so much good footage from this test shoot, so I figured I’d release bits and pieces of it here and there. Try not to get motion sickness from my bootleg camera work 😵‍💫

We were really only testing lighting + some new hair and makeup techniques that I was preparing to use for our annual bridal workshop. In fact, I was so unprepared for this impromptu shoot that I had to use brow gel as lash adhesive.

Little did we know, that screen shots of the looks created here would later be sent to us as inspo images from future brides, becoming one of 3 bench mark bridal looks for 2026.

This is a long one, but it was just too good to shorten.
I was sent this video on Father’s Day, & I’ve been meaning to share it ever since… but, you know, life.

Summer ’16. The sun, my son, my Wrangler, spontaneous beach trips, spontaneous video shoots. All my favorite things. Kai was 7, and I was one year into building my studio while learning how to be both a business owner and a boy mom.

Now there’s just one year left until Kai goes from being my kid to an independent young adult 😭. The beach trips are different. The conversations are different. The business is different. Life is different. Beautifully so.

Looking back, I realize I spent so much time trying to keep up with where life was taking us that I almost missed where we already were.

So much has changed since this video. Friendships, cars, businesses, relationships, addresses, LIFE.

But one thing has always remained the same. HOME… aka my family, duh. 🖤

While most of the change is good change, I admit.. it’s had me in a bit of a funk lately. So shoutout to POWERED BY THEMOTIVATION for sending me this cute little reminder of what was, what is, and where it’s all going :)

Delaware summoned us once again 🌧️✨

The weather may not have cooperated, but the soft rain, cozy slow morning, and dreamy overcast skies made the perfect setting for our always-smiley bride, Julia. With the help of our signature Glam Plan, her vision evolved from classic “no makeup” makeup and bridal bun into an elevated clean-girl boho moment that felt effortlessly her.

What wasn’t part of the Glam Plan? Stealing tiny blue flowers from her dog’s DIY garland beautifully crafted by the maid of honor 💐🐶 Sorry… but they were the final touch that tied everything together perfectly!!
