I call myself a “Paper Dragon” for good reason. I am obsessed with beautiful and interesting hand made papers. It’s been a life-long journey through an amazing world of color, themes, prints and textures. My collection has been referred to as a hoard… I know I’m not the only one who loves paper this much… And I love sharing my treasures with other paper enthusiasts…

This item has been my best seller, hands down. Folks fall in love with them. It’s neat little prize to bring back home…So – what makes it special?
A Treasure Book is a small gift notebook.
• What makes it a treasure is the paper, the process and the love I put into each one.
• Most of the outer papers are folded pieces of hand printed lokta paper – made from the bark of a Himalayan plant. Other handmade art papers are also used – every one is a bit different.
• Between the thickness of the paper, the toughness of the natural fibers and the amount of folded over paper – these are quite durable and will last a long time going in and out of a bag or purse.
• They come in 4 sizes, each with14 pages– Large, Medium, Small and Little Happy size (for $25, $20, $15 and $8)
I craft each Treasure Book by hand from beautiful art paper. I make the 15+ folds to create each outside portfolio. I cut pieces of artist quality drawing paper to create the inside “signature” by hand. I sew each one together on a pedal driven Singer Sewing Machine (built in 1900). And as a little happy-I add a personal note (on another beautiful piece of paper) about loving the chance to share awesome paper.
This is one of my most favorite creations. I get so excited when someone finds “just the right one” for themselves or someone they love. They are perfect for sketches, poems, lists and love notes.

Each hand folded booklet is unique, made from my dragon hord sized collection of with 15 pages of artist quality paper inside perfect for poems, sketches or grocery lists. 4 sizes, priced to be sweet gifts... Large (6*4 inches) for $25, medium (5*3.5 inches) for $20, small (4*3 inches) for $15. And I have a "little happy" sized version for $8. It's about 3*2 inches with the same good quality paper inside... Hit me up if you want to see your options...

*if you want to wear it, let me know I'll include some kind of necklace/cord with it. The 3*3 rose would make a serious pendant and the sunflower and the landscape would work and not be "too much" (if that's the kind of thing you worry about...)

I'm a . I have a hord of beautiful papers (many from ART Outfitters ...) and this is one way I get to share my treasure....

These books are made from paper sourced from my vast and varied collection. I choose a piece of special paper, cut it and fold the outer book.
My next step is to create "signitures" out of pastel paper or other art paper to make the folded paper that is the inside of a book. Then I sew it into the treasure book using my ancient Singer Sewing machine. I add a hand written note in each about the paper and my process.

These are really sturdy - handmade papers are thicker and more fiberous than one would think. I've carried around the same one in my bag for the past year and it is perfect for keeping little notes. And still in great condition.

Tiny is $5. Medium is $8 and the large is $12. I've made some extra large ones too... But they take far more paper. (I haven't set a price for that yet.🤷‍♀️) I'll post photos y'all can shop from before I go find local vendors...

Experimenting on an old experiment.... Only adding shadows and highlights to show waves... I'm not 100% pleased with it yet. We'll see if it gets saved or recycled into other art...
