☕ Day 10 and 11. Same coffee. Fresh start.
I was up early this morning, and it feels good to begin the day with a fresh start.
Yesterday didn’t quite go as planned—I overslept—but I decided not to stress about it. Instead, I focused on getting every box in the house unpacked and put away. I’d say it was mostly a success! 🙌
This morning I’m finishing up what’s left on the breakfast table, then it’s on to the bedroom.
After today, all that’s left is organizing the garage, sorting through décor, and taking storage items where they belong.
My weekend goal? To finish this move once and for all so I can shift my focus back to A Seasoned Kitchen and get the kiddos ready for the new school year.
One room at a time.
One box at a time.
One cup of coffee at a time. ☕🏡🤍
I’m so ready to close this moving chapter and start the next one. Stay tuned! 💚

Happy Wednesday! Getting Gluten Free ready to deliver to HAVEN & ROOTS! New flavor alert: Roasted Garlic and Roots Loaf! I have an addiction for roasted garlic it’s a sweet and creamy texture and when baked gives the vessel a delicious flavor. Thinking of Haven and Roots and their mission I used a seasoning that uses roared root vegetables and Italian seasonings. It is amazing and would also make delicious croutons. Still in the midst of unpacking so off to make my morning coffee!!

Day 4. Same coffee. More progress.
Yesterday was one of those days where you look around and realize, “We’re getting there.”
The house is starting to feel like home instead of a place full of boxes. Every room we finish brings a little more peace, and every little decorating project makes this place feel more like us.
Today’s goal is to finish the boxes inside the house so tomorrow we can all tackle the garage together. I’m finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
This move has been a lot of work, but it’s also been such a reminder that home isn’t built in a day. It’s built one box, one room, one memory, and one cup of coffee at a time.
I’m so thankful for this new chapter and for everyone following along as we turn this house into a home. 🤍🏡☕

Same coffee. New day. ☕🤍
Yesterday was errands and things forgotten. Today is unpacking, organizing, and making this house feel like home.
The kitchen is calling my name, and I can’t wait to get it ready for fresh bread, homemade desserts, and all the goodness to come.
One cup of coffee and one box at a time. 🏡

Some mornings are about productivity. Others are about gratitude.
Today, it’s both.
I’m sipping coffee in a brand-new kitchen that still has boxes to unpack, cabinets to organize, and memories waiting to be made. Every corner is a reminder that God has been so faithful.
I can’t wait to fill this home with the smell of fresh bread, homemade desserts, and people gathered around the table.
Welcome to ASK’s new home. ❤️

Well… the move is officially on! 🏡✨
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted because life has been a whirlwind of packing boxes in the kitchen But today wrapping up the last few things means I’m finally getting to organize my new kitchen, and if you know me, you know that’s my happy place.
There’s something special about finding a home for the mixing bowls, flour jars, and sourdough tools that have been part of so many celebrations. I can’t wait to get this kitchen up and running and fill it with the smell of fresh bread, cookies, cakes, and all the goodness that’s been waiting for the dust to settle.
Thank you for hanging with me through this season. I’m excited for this fresh chapter—for our family and for A Seasoned Kitchen. ❤️
Now tell me… what’s the very first thing you think I should bake in the new kitchen? 🍞🧁🍪

I used this method last night for dinner and it was phenomenal!
I used 50/50 (organic grass fed and finished) lamb with 85/15 ground beef. 2 pounds total
Add 1/2 cup Za’atar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground pepper
1/4-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
I caramelized 1 &1/2 lg onions sliced and 4 garlic cloves chopped (let them cool before adding to ground meat.
1 cup of panko adding enough buttermilk to make breadcrumbs tacky. Allow buttermilk to absorb while onions cool.
Once the onions, garlic, and breadcrumbs are ready add to the meat and mix like you would a meatloaf. Watch the video it shows you how to roll out in parchment paper and bake in oven!
400 for 25-30min

Thank you, 4C Farm!
Summer tomatoes mean one thing around our house—Tomato Pie season! Before heading out for a little getaway, I stopped by the farm stand and picked up 7 beautiful tomatoes. Last night, Jeff and I enjoyed some Southern fried chicken and a slice of homemade tomato pie.
That first bite? Pure summer heaven. There’s just something special about farm-fresh tomatoes that makes every recipe shine. Thank you for providing such incredible local produce! 🌞🍅
What’s your favorite way to enjoy fresh summer tomatoes? 👇🏻🍅
