Today I don't post as Miss Eastern Equatoria, I post as a proud daughter.

The woman who trained me, who taught me how to walk, how to talk, how to carry the pride of Eastern Equatoria — our own ETA trainer, OTIMOI from King Palace Hiyala — is now carrying the flag of SOUTH SUDAN at MISS OCEAN WORLD 2026!

The same crown that was beautifully won by our sister Everline Kurere from Hatiha, Eastern Equatoria — Mama Otimoi is going to bring it back home again!
From training Mr. & Miss Eastern Equatoria to representing the whole of South Sudan on the world stage, you have shown us that the East is not just participating, THE EAST IS LEADING the modeling industry in South Sudan.

Mama Otimoi, you gave us the crown, now go and bring us another one. Your daughter, Miss Eastern Equatoria, and all your sons and daughters from the Emerald's of the East are so proud of you.

I wore our beads with honor. I danced our edong'a with power. I told our story of cattle, courage, and beauty.

Now, my crown is looking for the head that will carry it HIGHER.
This year, Eastern Equatoria needs a daughter who will stand TALLER than me. Louder than me. Prouder than me.

Join us as we welcome our reigning Miss Eastern Equatoria, Queen Hellen Massimo Ubur back home after a long, impactful week in Nairobi, Kenya, where she was preparing for her next international stage!
She will be carrying the Name of Eastern Equatoria high this December somewhere soon to be revealed, and now she returns home to prepare to hand over the crown this coming November.
Pari Community, Magwi County and all Eastern Equatoria, let's give her a queen's welcome!
