We, the people of Jau County, are deeply proud and honored of our own son, Hon. Santo Luol, who was sworn in today following his appointment as the Minister of Finance and Planning for the Ruweng Administrative Area (RAA).

This milestone is a source of great pride for our community, as it reflects the confidence placed in Hon. Santo Luol to lead in financial planning and economic development.

𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐆, 𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔——𝐇.𝐄, 𝐂𝐎𝐋. 𝐏𝐒𝐂. Daniel Makuei Thieyear, Chief Administrator of Ruweng Administrative Area, presided over a swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed officials in the Government of Ruweng Administrative Area.

Speaking during the swearing-in on behalf of County Commissioners, Hon. Mario Lueth Haar,
Emphasized commitment to cooperation and Coordination efforts between the counties to encounter external security threat. Pledged commissioners full support to leadership citing that "once we join hands we would be able to achieved what is needed ". Hon'ble Lueth Haar said.

Hon. Miading Chol Dongwei, Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement speaking on behalf of the ministers, reiterated committment to follow the government protocol and emphasized hard-work. He also advised newly appointed officials to take-up their duties and responsibilities diligently."

In his address, Daniel Makuei directed new officials to embrace peace and unity of purpose by coming together as one force to overcome political differences, and section-based politics. His Excellency Thieyear, also encouraged the grassroots level participation in decision-making, citing that "The success of Ruweng is our collective responsibility and it's upon all of us to make it thrive".

His Excellency, Makuei further reiterated his call on the people of Ruweng Administrative Area to fully prepare and re—double their efforts as the country is approaching towards general elections ''We Must prepare ourselves to elect our leaders based on merits and party-line". Daniel stated.

Among the officials sworn-in were; Hon'ble Deputy Chief, Monylang Minyiel, Hon'ble Advisor for Economic, Antony Kiir, Hon'ble Minister of Local Government Miading Chol Dongwei, Hon'ble Minister of Finance Santo Luol, Hon. John Guch De Buga, Minister of Lobour, Hon'ble Minister of Physical Infrastructure Miakuach Nyok Ayuel, Hon’ble County Commissioners.

𝐘𝐈𝐃𝐀, 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟖𝐓𝐇, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 —— 𝐇.𝐄. 𝐂𝐨𝐥. 𝐏𝐒𝐂. Daniel Makuei Thieyear, Chief Administrator of Ruweng Administrative Area, has arrived safely at Yida Airstrip following an official visit to Juba.

Upon his arrival the Chief Administrator was warmly received by the Deputy Chief Administrator Hon. Simon Wuor Miaper, Political Advisor and Ruweng SPLM Secretary, among other government officials.
