It's not Position that makes leaders, it's Purpose

Leadership is less about being right and doing what is right

Psalm 103:8-12 (NLT)

8 The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
9 He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever.
10 He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
12 He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.

So yesterday, my whole family went for my grandaunt's funeral.

I was so tired and exhausted from the journey, because it was like going from my state to another state entirely

If not for my sister embarking on the journey with us, trust me my pictures would have been everywhere, social media and the new channels as mossing person😁

I was sad, but at the same time I went for the rice and chicken very plenty plus the fact i have cousins to catch up with

I went down memory lane when this my grand aunt while we were still kids will prepare delicious delicacy for us to enjoy

So going for the funeral yesterday was a reminder of the good old days, I even took of my shoes and walked about barefooted, remembering good childhood memories.

The burial was a success and I had fun connecting with extended family members from far..

So my husband's elder brother came in from Lagos yesterday and today we all decided to go pay Mama a visit, before then I and brother inlaw called Mama to remind her that today is Easter, so rice and chicken should be plenty, as we would come in an empty stomach.

So after service today, we all prepared, my husband, my brother in-law and my humble self to go visit Mama and it started pouring down (raining).
Me I sha said this rain hat nothing on me, i pulled out all the umbrellas and distributed, bam and we all hit the road. *****only for us to get half journey and realize it was only raining in our area*****

Ok we got to my mother inlaws house and we had a good gist, shee was actually making her hair,so we kept her company while we talked, she asked we eat, she knew I don't eat Okra, but that's what she prepared.

Hubby: Mama you know say she no dey chop Okra
Me: 🥱
Mama: eeeehnn, so when she's pregnant, wetin she go dey chop
Me: 🤔 food nah
Hubby: it's true ooo, shey pregnant women are advised to always eat Okra?🤨
Me: 🤔(how did we get here?)
Mama: don't worry shebi I dey here, with no invitation, i will buy ingredients by myself every week and cook it for her, lets see how she will not eat it.
