I attended the PTA meeting today, and Avia came along with me. After the meeting, she told me, “Mummy, my teacher wants to speak with you.”

I said, “Okay.”

I was so proud of Avia when her teacher told me how well she is doing in school. She said:

1. Avia is a very good girl.
2. Whenever she is advised, she takes it seriously and always shows improvement.

Her teacher even pleaded with me, saying, “Mum, please reward her. Even if it’s just an egg, buy it for her because she truly deserves it.”

When we got home, little did Avia know that I already had a surprise waiting for her a dictionary.

If only you could have seen her reaction! The joy and excitement on her face were priceless. Seeing her so happy filled my heart with so much gratitude.

I pray to always see my daughter happy and thriving.

The way she celebrated her gift was incredible! If it were me, I would have expected pizza or KFC instead. 😊❤️

Some of you have grown in ways nobody applauded.

You’ve healed in silence.
You’ve risen without recognition.

But look at you.

Still standing.
Still becoming. 💚

People will talk no matter what you do.

You could be the kindest, most generous person, and someone will still find a reason to tear you down. Why? Because their words are a reflection of them, not you. People will always have something to say, especially when they can't reach you anymore.

So, how do you handle it? You don't. Let them talk. Let them waste their time and energy while you focus on leveling up. Their opinions don't pay your bills, don't build your dreams, and don't define your worth.

You're not here to please everyone, you're here to live your life unapologetically. So, keep your head high, keep moving forward, and let their negativity roll off your back. You're too busy growing to look back.
