Thank you Adobe Live Community for this Artist’s Spotlight feature and for giving me a chance to share my story! Home, heritage, and family, and how this weaves into my creative storytelling is a big cornerstone of INKSCRPT and my artwork. Truthfully, this journey has not been easy and a lot of the self-doubt I have stemmed from doubt from other people. I’m only human, after all. 🌱
I have so much love for my family and loved ones who have been my grounding force throughout this rollercoaster and all the milestones I’ve experienced. Thank you for everyone who has encouraged me to keep going. 💌
Hope this gives you a little glimpse of what shaped me as an artist and person. And I hope this gives you a push - even just a little - to pursue what you are contemplating on today.

I had the absolute honour to be the featured designer for for the BIGGEST moment in WNBA - IN CHICAGO! And all for WNBA’s 30th year too!
The designs were given away as merch on silk scarves and socks for the WNBA Live activation. Xfinity members also got to rock the designs on bucket hats and posters - which were signed with live calligraphy by yours truly on-site!
THAT’S NOT ALL - I got to paint a basketball that was SPINNING live at the activation. And gave away two pairs of hand-painted, one-of-a-kind sneakers to some lucky fans.
ALSO got to give my designs to the incredible Olivia Miles, Caitlin Clark, and Dawn Staley!!
So grateful for this experience to do what I love, for a sport I love. WHAT A PRIVILEGE, WHAT A LIFE!!!!

Hand-painted these basketballs for a national Endy x WNBA campaign to kick off the 2026 season! They were used for a campaign shoot featuring the Canadian WNBA players Aaliyah Edwards, Kia Nurse, and Laeticia Amihere. Sharing a bit behind my creative process on how I designed and hand-painted these basketballs. As someone who values a great night’s sleep as the foundation to how I show up as an artist, I built the entire visual language of the design around this core value: the beauty of sleep is honouring your nights so you can reach peak performance.

Honoured to have created this illustration in collaboration with to celebrate 10 years of 💛thank you so much for trusting me with this piece.
This was such a special project to create and pushed me to do an inner analysis of intersecting identities; of what “joyful resistance” and establishing new roots in a new place while also maintaining your old ones means. I felt myself revisiting the hot rooms of the famjams that brought me the fondest memories: shoes piled at the front doors, Titos outside cracking open cold ones on white plastic chairs, Titas belting out Whitney Houston on the karaoke mic, sweaty kids running around with lampins in their backs, elders shoving the back of their hand on our foreheads to teach us respect.
Although this piece is ultimately for the celebration of , the heart of ‘tahanan’ (home) means so much more than just milestones or memories. It’s everything, all the things we carry with us no matter it be here or the motherland.
THAT’S RIGHT MOM - MY ART IS ON TV!! Had the privilege to handpaint these basketballs for a x commercial campaign that will be broadcasted NATIONALLY throughout the whole season!!!! Me!! Lil me!!! If you’ve seen the commercial, please let me know 🥺🫣
Absolutely surreal seeing the Canadian legends Aaliyah Edwards, Kia Nurse, and Laeticia Amihere holding the basketballs I painted!
I’ll be sharing more details on the BTS and story behind the design in collaboration with soon (STAY TUNED), but I’m excited to give you a sneak peek of one of my favourite design projects to date ☺️

I think a lot of people can relate to the heartaches & headaches of ‘the Process’. What it means to be behind building your craft and doing the actual crafting. So I wanted to share an honest story of the complex feelings that come with doing something that you love - especially when what you love becomes work.
And as this football was completely painted by hand, you can imagine how many complex feelings that come with the beauty and pains of handmade work.
