International day of Radiology celebrated in BMU under the umbrella of BSRI

Honorable VC, Treasurer and Registrar attended the rally along with Radiologists/Radiology trainees-residents of different institutions.

A Radiology quiz was held later on and quiz winners were awarded books.

BSRI, Khulna divisional BSRI representatives and Khulna Medical College (KMC) Radiology & Imaging Dept jointly arranged a CME on 6th November, 2025 in Khulna Medical College auditorium.

Society President Brig Gen Sayed Awsaf Ali (Rtd) & Secretary General Prof MD Nazrul Islam joined the CME as special guests.

KMCH director Dr Kazi Md Ainul Islam and Khulna Specialized Hospital Director Dr Shaikh Abu Shahin also attended the CME as special guests.

KMC principal Prof Dr Golam Mashud honored the CME as chief guest.

KMC dept HOD Prof Sadika Parvin and BSRI scientific secretary Prof Sharmin Akhtar Rupa welcomed the audience and commenced the scientific session.

BSRI EC members, Radiologists from khulna division & throughout the country along with doctors of different departments of Khulna medical college hospital and other hospitals of Khulna also attended the CME.

The session was conducted by Dr Shahnaz Choudhury Luna, Faculty from BMU.

The slogan of the CME was "Neuroradiology: Decoding Brain Function".

Three distinguished speakers: Dr Nazrul Islam, HOD, DMCH, Dr Mousumi Mondal, Radiologist from KMCH and Dr Nasrin Sultana, Radiologist from NINS presented on three time demanding topics of Neuroradiology
