“People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.” 🥹
And, sometimes, working out which is which js part of the self-worth journey ❤️
DM me the word VALIDATE if this resonated.
So many amazing photos 📸 So many amazing memories 🥹 More to come soon! 💃

Group photos from my recent Burlesque show! 💃 It was so hard to select ALL of my favourite pics for ONE carousel, so I thought I’d keep the dream alive for a little longer 😅
I’ll be sharing more soon from different categories eg:
backstage pics, solo shots, finer details, and of course costume design 👗🧵
Routines were:
Buttonz, I’m in love with a monster, Show me how you Burlesque, Sexy silk, Lady Marmalade, and You don’t own me 🎵
This was my 4th live show, and such a fabulous experience for me, for so many reasons 🥹
Huge shout out to my fellow dancers, instructor Sue, photographer Ric, and my husband (who took a few of these pics 🙃) 🙌🏻
Keep your eyes peeled for more, coming soon 🔜
For decades I told myself I wasn’t a creative person: I couldn’t draw. I was terrible at art. I once made a pottery vase at school so bad it lived at the bottom of my wardrobe until I left the family home! 😂
Somewhere along the way I confused “not being good at drawing” with “not being creative.” And they are not the same thing.
I upcycle clothing, I transform garments into things that are completely unrecognisable. And I perform burlesque, adapting my expression to completely different moods, genres, and music styles 💃
Turns out I was creative all along. I just hadn’t found my version of it yet 🥹
And this is exactly the kind of work I do with my Validate Yourself 1:1 mentoring clients, because so many women have lost touch with their creative side (or never felt they had one in the first place).
Reuniting you with hobbies you once loved as a child, or helping you explore entirely new experiences as an adult, is such a fun and POWERFUL way to discover who you really are, build your self-worth, and grow your confidence from the inside out.
If that sounds like something you need right now, DM me and let’s chat 💛
And, if you produce something as awesome as my phallic-shaped vase, I’ll teach you the skills to feel PROUD of it - no matter what 🍆
Every cloud, right? 😏
For years, my 3 biggest spending weaknesses were: clothing, skincare, and barefoot shoes 👗🧴🥿
And, you know what? I told myself it was just self-care. Just treating myself. Just a little pick-me-up 🤗
But if I’m honest, I was buying for 2 reasons:
1️⃣ the temporary dopamine hit, and
2️⃣ the external validation that came with it
I’d buy some new skincare or make a new barefoot shoe purchase, and I’d immediately tell someone, or post about it in a respective Facebook community. They’d congratulate me, justify the purchase, tell me I’d made a great choice. And for a moment, I’d feel good 😇
But nothing ever filled the void. Not really. Not for long 🕳️
It’s been two years since I bought a pair of barefoot shoes. Several months since I bought skincare I don’t actually need. And other than costumes for my burlesque show or something to upcycle, I haven’t bought any NEW clothes for myself in a very long time! 💯
Not because I’m depriving myself, or because of lack. But because I don’t need to fill that void anymore 🛍️
That’s what working on your self-worth actually does. It quiets the urge to search OUTSIDE of yourself for something that was always an INSIDE job 👍
Shopping. Scrolling. Seeking approval. If you’re filling a void with anything and everything outside of yourself, that’s not a spending problem. That’s a self-worth problem ❌
And, it’s exactly the work I do inside my “Validate Yourself” 1:1 mentoring. Send me a DM if you’re ready to kick the habit 🦵

Ever noticed someone who seems to get their sense of worth entirely from other people’s achievements? 🏆
A parent who says “we passed our driving test.” A grandparent whose whole identity revolves around what their grandchildren are doing. A mother who reminds you (years after the fact 🙄), that her investment deserves some of the credit 💰
It’s not just pride. It’s what I call validation via proxy. And, it’s more common than you think.
Because when your own life feels empty or unfulfilling, other people’s achievements can become a very convenient source of reflected worth 🪞
It’s external validation: just one step removed.
And just like all external validation, it doesn’t last. It still points to the same root cause. And it still keeps you stuck in the same loop 🔁
The only validation that truly sticks is the kind you generate yourself 🤗
If you’re ready to start doing that work, I have a small number of spaces available for “Validate Yourself” 1:1 mentoring at the current introductory price of £333. When those spaces are gone, the price moves to £555, so send me a DM to find out more ✉️
There’s a loop that a lot of us are stuck in, and most of us don’t even realise we’re doing it 🤷♀️
➡️ Set it up. Seek it out. Receive it. Repeat.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with it. We all need connection, reassurance, and the occasional pat on the back 🐶
But when you’re going round and round that roundabout 🚙 (sometimes with two or three loops running at the same time 😅), it gets exhausting.
AND, HERE’S THE THING: you never quite feel better for long enough 💀
One day though, an exit appears… 🗺️
And when you finally take it… when you choose self-validation over seeking it from everyone around you… there is no truer, better feeling than feeling good about yourself, all by yourself 🤗
That exit exists. And I can help you find it 🔍
Send me a DM if you’re interested in working with me 1:1, and let’s see how I can help 💬 🙋🏼♀️

For 47 years, I looked outside of myself to feel good about who I was.
This is how I stopped — and how I now help other women do the same.
